Custom Middleware

Bonsai Labs developed a custom rules-based location inference engine.

This middleware is currently being leveraged in a very large scale Internet portal (Alexa top 200). The engine is implemented under a clustered J2EE architecture.

Services Provided

The engine outputs location information based on natural language text inputs. Portal administrators can adjust the relative rule-weights dynamically in order to tune location and event targeting based on a variety of geographic, marketing, or scheduling criteria.
